The Marine Corps League, Col. Mitchell Paige Detachment #1207 is a nonprofit veterans organization dedicated to preserving the traditions of the United States Marine Corps while providing meaningful service to our local community. Named in honor of Colonel Mitchell Paige, a distinguished Marine and Medal of Honor recipient who embodied the highest ideals of duty and sacrifice, our detachment exists to ensure that his spirit of leadership and service lives on.
Detachment #1207 serves Marines, FMF Navy personnel, veterans, and their families across San Diego. Our programs range from direct support and emergency assistance for service members and families, to ceremonial honor guard details, scholarships and youth awards, community education, and mentorship for JROTC and Young Marines. We also assemble and distribute holiday care packages for deployed troops, ensuring they feel the strength of home and community.
More than an organization, we are a fellowship of Marines and supporters united by the motto “Semper Fidelis”—Always Faithful. Through camaraderie, service, and dedication, Detachment #1207 ensures that the contributions of our Marines are honored, their families are supported, and the values of the Corps continue to inspire the next generation.
